Tallow Balms NZ Reviews — Real results from real Kiwis

My adult son has had terrible eczema most of his life. The pharmaceutical products have not worked for him... then we discovered tallow products from Primal Pantry just two months ago and this has been a game changer! We're now trying the shampoo and conditioner, and the lip balm which has helped my 12 year old too... and my dry scalp healed instantly using the hair products. I'm not being paid to post these comments lol - it's just such wonderful product and I highly recommend trying it. I personally love the face balm too - it's like soft silk on my skin and I've been getting regular compliments at work about how nice my skin looks.

I have been using tallow for five years now. Its a game changer. Those over priced moisturisers are a waste of money and full of ingredients that do nothing and are likely harmful. You are paying the big cosmetic companies for all their marketing and ridiculous packaging.

The first time I've ever felt fully "covered" for my fussy ever changing season by season skin. I will always support local and it's such a bonus that this just happens to be the best thing I've ever used. Customer for life!

I love this! The smell is so fresh, and it's just the best. I use the other tallow at night, but was struggling during the day as it felt greasy and was making my hair greasy. But this light day cream is the bomb!

Truly amazing stuff! I've ordered 3 times already, I use it for myself as moisturizer and has made a more noticeable change in under eye lines than any fancy anti aging product I've ever brought, and for my 1 year olds eczema. Have recommended it to lots of others.

Highly recommended for humans and fur babas, 1 application and my baby's are relaxed and itch free. I had eczema under my arm, and couldn't use regular deodorant, 2 days of applying Tallow Natural Deodorant and the rash is nearly gone and I am pain free there now too, thank you so much Primalpantry xxxxx.

I don't often give reviews on products but this one I have to....I've noticed a huge improvement in my skin; face and back of hands (showing signs of aging). Will never again spend a fortune on other products, this is now my forever skincare.

Honesty a life saver for my boy with eczema he had it really bad having to go to skin specialist trying all different things from doctors and lots of different nature creams and tallow is the only thing that actually works.

Morning one smells like ylang ylang, and the night one smells like chocolate and orange. Both feel amazing, having a mousse like consistency. These two are my absolute favourites. The best part is you only use a very small amount, so it will last for ages. Hope this helps.

Has made such a great impression so quickly! Fine lines are disappearing, and my skin glows. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but it's actually doing what it promised ... even though nothing else I've tried has done what said it would. Have been recommending it to my friends.

Kia ora! I wanted to say, my 5 year old daughter has eczema and it was so incredibly severe that she now requires immuno suppressing medication to treat it. I have a trial tub of the manuka/vanilla one, for the patch of eczema I've had since November. Not only is it healing, it is not as itchy & not spreading like it was. To find it's also made in Christchurch, is such a bonus!

I had severe psoriasis on my scalp and I religiously use the tallow shampoo bar and my scalp is so healthy and not itchy anymore! I barely get any flare ups anymore.. I will try this liquid shampoo next.

I'm having another go at using it and you do get used to it. Eventually the smell subsides and you're left with the rose and vanilla. My skin feels softer and a bit less crepey already. I was a bit iffy about it too.

I think these guys may need to reconsider the limited edition part. I received my order the next day and tried the night one and love it. The texture is mousse like and it seems less greasy than their other tallows ive used.

Received this week & have used once. Smells amazing. I have really long hair and it left it nice and shiny & felling good. Will take a few washes to build up so I'll post back. I also have the shampoo bar.

On my second lot now and I honestly love these. I've got really sensitive skin and have tried creams from everywhere, but most caused breakouts or irritated my skin. These are the only ones that have actually worked for me with no issues. Definitely sticking with these from now on — nothing else compares.

I use it for my dry skin on my face and any rashes I get on my body like eczema...My husband uses the one with sun screen for his face and receding hair line fantastic creams...

I use the Manuka/Vanilla and it's the best moisturiser I've ever used especially since menopause. I got the blue tub for my teenage granddaughters and it's definitely helped with their hormonal skin as well - thank you GREAT JOB GREAT PRODUCT PRIMALPANTRY.

It is the best moisturizer for my hands - I suffer with contact dermatitis, and it's more severe in winter. Since switching to the primal pantry tallow my skin has no new cracks, no new bleeding, and its not tight and sore. Added bonus is the tallow doesn't sting the way most handcreams do.

Best stuff for my scalp ever, i get dermatitis in my head amd at day 3 after washing my head is itchy but not this stuff at all. Thank you Primalpantry for making the best products you guys rock!!

I've been using it for a few weeks now and was surprised to not experience any breakouts. My skin is usually so sensitive, any changes in skin care set it off. I believe my skin is loving it.

I've brought 3 now... Don't mind smelling like dripping....but loving the Vanilla. Has cleared up all the eczema on my face... A doctor told me to get some.

Michelle I absolutely love it, get lots of compliments on my skin and a few people have actually ordered it too. So moisturising and I think it's mellowed my redness on my cheeks.

I don't have any skin conditions but liked the fact its natural, use it on my face at night and definitely see the benefits, my skin is less tight which so many moisturisers and face washes do ...also use eye balm and lip balm love these!

I am amazed! Bought this for the 1st time and used it on our sons face - he had a little scooter accident and grazed his chin & nose (thankfully wearing a helmet saved his head). We started applying it the day after on a Monday and by the Thursday the improvement was phenomenal. My only regret is not taking before/after pictures to post (probably because Im often a bit of a sceptic), but this Tallow has proved me wrong.

Great natural product, the only facial moisturizer i use. love that its natural and a reasonable price, and made locally. My daughter also uses it and it helps my grandsons dry skin condition enormously.

Absolutely love Tallow cream, good for the laugh lines at the corner of my eyes, and the rest of my face, slightly dark circles under my eyes. Dry hands, definitely getting more when I get low. Good for my girls pimples and things when their monthly is due. Thank you Tallow Creams.

I absolutely love this tallow cream, I use it myself and I also send it to my grandson in Oz for his ezcema. So what you do is this...put a small dollop in your palm and just gently rub your hands together, you will feel when it stops being grainy then just slather that good stuff everywhere...

The unscented balm has healed my son's eczema! Highly recommend to those struggling to find a natural product that actually does what it promises it will (4 stars).

I have really bad burning scalp from fibomlega and Coeliac disease and this shampoo and conditioner is a god send. It settled it so much I hardly notice now wouldn't go back to anything else now.

I have been using this product for quite a while now and absolutely love it. My first purchase was the Vanilla / Rose and have continued to purchase this one until a couple of weeks ago when i decided to get the limited edition products and I have to say they are fabulous. I thought the original tallow balms were fantastic until the new ones came out. Honestly these products are brilliant in every way - Price point / results / the feel and consistency / minimal smell but what you can smell is lovely / your skin feels amazing / fines lines definitely disappear / fantastic delivery time - honestly ladies this product is the bomb ... I can't say enough about it.

Haha it does smell like beef when you first apply it, but I find that after an hr or so the tallow soaks into my skin, and the scent has blended into my own scent - I can hardly smell it. That said...each person handles scent differently so it might be trial and error. Primal Pantry also do a vanilla and rose tallow that has much less of the beef scent. At the moment the honey & Tansy combo is doing wonders for my skin so I'm prepared to not worry about the scent. For several months I have been using only the tallow daily in the morning (liberally applied) with occasional moisturiser mask and cream cleanse - no other foundations, creams etc. My skin is at the point where I'm now applying eyebrow liner, a good bronzer, blush and lippie without any foundation. My skin looks great.

I started using it over a year ago when my daughter suggested it as I have had rosacea for a long time and it was getting worse. Since using the Tallow it has gone completely. I find it really good. All the redness has gone across my nose and have since recommended it to a few friends. And good for you making a hard decision like that for your business. Ive been using it for 3 weeks .love it on my face .and body .would recommend and will replace jar when this one's empty .which will take awhile as little goes along way.

I have been using this product and I love it I'm 65 I just love the way my skin feels so hydrated and softer you can really feel it soaks in my fav is vanilla and rose.

Highly recommend very nice shampoo and conditioner. Best part don't strip those natural oils. Left my hair so soft. Yes I am actual person and customer.

I just love your basic beef tallow product .. it's more like my natural skin .. adding stuff doesn't work for me .. I am glad you are making the " real thing " in a big pot now.

Great stuff. Has helped two friends with dry cracked hands. One a gardener the other a cleaner working with chemicals. Myself helped with dry feet and a small crack in my heal.

I had the skin ripped off my fingers by a rope while lunging a horse. They were very bad, I wish I had taken a photo of them. I covered them with a blister pack band aid set to each finger. After a week they were still weeping so I took the plasters off , dried them in the sun and applied Tallow, lavender scented, they were still red raw, within a week they have completely healed new skin has grown and I am not restricted to in doing anything. At the same time from using it on my fingers it has removed all the solar keretos on the back of my hand. Saving me a Dr's visit. I also use it as a night cream every night. Tallow is amazing. The fragrance did not effect the open wounds in any way.

I'm 64 and using it, My skin feels softer and someone I hadn't seen for ages thought I looked 'younger' could have been lying lol I work at a meatworks so you'd think I'd already have no wrinkles but sadly no..I really believe once wrinkles are there we're buggured unless cosmetic surgery etc..However I'm using it night and morning Vanilla in the morning and frankincense at night ( they said that ones better for wrinkled) !!!

I'm trialing the shampoo bar, gosh easy to use..squeaky clean hair..no juggling slippery bottles or the amount to use, or reading the labels..if 'shampoo or conditioner'.easy to pack in the suitcase it..no spills!! I will try the bar of conditioner next.. the big jars are well worth it..I just keep refilling the my smaller previous purchased jar..great value, many thanks.

I've got the frankincense, lavender and manuka. You get a hint of tallow from the frankincense... Not from the others. It leaves your skin so soft.... Lurve it.

Absolutely love this stuff !!! Got it for me, then after saw how good it is for kids eczema, so now I'm just using it on my toddler and it's amazing !!!

Hey I use tallow and I introduced it to my sister she started using it and it has cleared up her pimples , I don't get as much as I used to as well it's pretty good.

oh I didn't have a problem mine arrived this week & I tried it last night left my hair nice and soft so looking forward to many uses to see how it goes.

I have this, next time I'll buy one with a scent but it is awesome stuff. No moisturiser works like this stuff. Great for feet too. Highly recommend.

I'm on my 7th jar of lavender scented.....so very good for dry scaly skin....love the idea of a big jar. Any progress with making it with sun screen included??

Aisling O Riordan Iv just started using the reviana one I got the night one but I use it morning too under make up and it's a lighter feeling cream.

Mine was creamy at the start but quickly became like candle wax to put on. Is there a reason? It is still amazing as its cleared a small rash I had.

It works great. I have tried all sorts of stuff for my flaky scalp. Nothing has worked as good as this. Noticed the difference in a matter of day's.

I love this product I use it at night after my shower and in the morning before I put on my foundation would recommend it to anyone.

You only need a very tiny amount, the smell disappears instantly leaving your skin fantastically soft and glowing...
